Zenith Outdoor Group for Girls

 About Amanda

Amanda is a Nyack native and an avid explorer of the outdoors. Having spent much of her youth  at her parents' lake house in the Catskills, she developed a strong love for outdoor  play and exploration  of the woods.  She hikes once or twice every week and seeks out areas and regions  in which to find new hiking trails.  She also enjoys bike rides to New Jersey, daily workouts in and out  of the gym, and running.  Her favorite places to hike are Harriman State Park in New York and  Canyonlands National Park in Utah.

When she's not exploring the great outdoors, she works as an AFAA Certified Personal Fitness  Trainer, helping teenagers and adults improve their physical & mental health and self confidence.  She coached middle school- and high school-level field hockey and lacrosse for five years at the Kent  Place  School in Summit, N.J. and worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for four years. She has  training  in motivational and academic coaching and also holds a CPR certification, a First Aid  certification  and a dual Bachelor's Degree in American History and American Art History from  Rutgers College.
